She earned her medical degree at University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine in 2005 and completed her residency at Schwab Rehabilitation Hospital, an affiliate of the University of Chicago Hospital in Chicago, Illinois in 2009. Dr. Schweitzer completed fellowship training in spine and musculoskeletal pain at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, Wisconsin in 2010. Dr. Schweitzer is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and fellowship trained in Pain Management and Interventional Pain Management Procedures.
Dr. Schweitzer’s specialty interests include: interventional pain procedures for the management of cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine pain, peripheral joint pain, interventional management of compression fractures, neuropathic pain, phantom limb pain, complex regional pain syndrome, and general musculoskeletal pain.
