Thank you all for participating in the 2nd Annual NWO 5k & Pump n Go! There was great competition in both events and fun for every age. We were able to raise some much appreciated funds for local athletic booster clubs as well as Freedom is Not Free supporting wounded military personnel and their families. We were also able to collect many t-shirts and athletic shoes to donate to our local Chopin Hall.

  The overall winner for both the Pump n Go and the 5k are familiar names to us as they won the events last year. Stan Nicol from Marion, Ohio repeated as the Pump n Go winner but did have some stiff competition. Young Matt Waaland, a freshman in high school here in Findlay, repeated as the overall winner of the 5k. In the women’s Pump n Go, Laura Kemp from Bowling Green, Ohio took top spot and Abby Cominsky from Findlay top first female in the 5k race.

  Again, thank you for your involvement and we look forward to seeing you again next year on Saturday, April 9th, 2011.
